General Terms and Conditions for Currency Conversion

Please note the following when purchasing a ticket with currency conversion options:

• The option to pay in a different currency is available only when booking through ita-airways.com.
• The exchange rate applicable at the time the booking is finalized is binding.
• The total converted amount is based on the daily exchange rates provided by Bloomberg FX Fixing. Please note that exchange rates may therefore vary for new bookings or inquiries made through ita-airways.com.
• The currency conversion option is offered only for ticket purchases and selected additional services.
• Receipts must not be manipulated or altered.
• ITA Airways reserves the right to take legal action in the event of fraud.
• These conditions may change at any time and without prior notification.
• Optional currency conversion is not available with the "Hold my booking for 72 hours" feature, as the final price is subject to currency fluctuations.
• Optional currency conversion cannot be used in combination with vouchers, as vouchers must be redeemed in the original currency of the ticket.
• When using the currency converter, the total amounts across various cost centers may vary. The final price will therefore be rounded down in the customer’s favor.

This option is not available for:

• Later changes to bookings
• Upgrades or additional services (e.g., additional baggage, advance seat reservation)
• Ticket purchases made through other booking channels (e.g., Service Center, Airport Ticket Office).
