You can purchase your ticket easily on ita-airways.com, through the ITA Airways app, at travel agencies, airport ticket offices, or by contacting our Customer Center.

With ITA Airways in partnership with Accesrail and Iryo:

  • Select your departure and destination city, then choose your travel class (currently only available for flights).
  • Select your itinerary and purchase a single ticket that includes both carriers.
  • The terms for train travel are separate from air travel. For specific details regarding your rail journey, please refer directly to the Terms and Conditions of the relevant rail operator.

Booking a Combined Train + Plane Ticket with ITA Airways and FlexFlight (Germany)

  • Select QYG, the identification code for any destination in Germany.
  • Choose your destination when checking in for the train.
  • Your train ticket can be used at any time on the requested date and route.
  • Train travel is available from Germany's main airports, providing easy connections. You can also connect to our network via train travel from Brussels, Zurich, and Amsterdam.
  • The terms for train travel are separate from air travel. For specific details regarding your rail journey, please refer directly to the Terms and Conditions of the relevant rail operator.

No, this service is only available for international and intercontinental flights operated by ITA Airways. Domestic flights are not eligible.

You will receive a combined ticket that includes two separate transport tickets, one for each segment of your journey.

You will need to check in twice, separately, and will receive two boarding passes, one for your flight and one for the train. Traveling with Iryo doesn't require a separate check-in.

Check-In Procedures:

  • Flight: Check in for your flight at the airport or conveniently online via the website or app, beginning 48 hours before departure. If your flight is to or from the USA, please note that online check-in starts 24 hours before departure.
  • Accesrail Train: To check in for your Accesrail Train journey, log in to the ​AccesrailThe link will be opened in a new browser tab website up to 72 hours before departure. Use your ITA Airways ticket number or PNR to access your train boarding pass and secure your assigned seat.
  • FlexFlight Train: Visit ​Rail Check-InThe link will be opened in a new browser tab up to 3 hours before your train departs. Enter your ticket number or ITA Airways PNR to check in and receive your boarding pass and assigned seats.
  • Your Iryo Train boarding pass is generated immediately upon flight ticket purchase. You can also easily access it at any time on the ​Iryo website'sThe link will be opened in a new browser tab "Manage Your Booking" page.

Flight check-in at train stations is available only at Rome Fiumicino Airport. This service is for passengers holding a Trenitalia ticket connecting to any ITA Airways network destination, except flights to the United States and Israel.

The ITA Airways network (excluding domestic flights) is connected to the main ​​Italian and European train stations. Where available, transfers between the train station and the airport are included in the ticket.

The cost of train travel is included in your combined ITA Airways ticket for the entire journey. You do not need to purchase a separate ticket. Additional fees may apply if you choose optional services directly from the train operator.

You will need to collect your baggage at the connecting station or airport before continuing your journey, as baggage is not automatically transferred between train and aircraft.

For air travel, seat selection is available when purchasing your ticket online via the ITA Airways website or app, through travel agencies, at ITA Airways airport ticket offices, or via our Customer Center.

If you purchased your ticket from a travel agency, contact your travel agent directly.

Delayed Flight:
If you miss your scheduled train due to a flight delay, visit the train company's service desk at the station. A customer service representative will assist you with rebooking onto a later train.
Delayed Train:
If you miss your connecting flight due to a train delay, go to the ITA Airways ticket office at the airport or the ITA Airways Call Center to issue a new flight ticket and be automatically rebooked onto the next flight.
