Alghero, the fifth largest city in Sardinia, provides privileged access to the island via the Fertilia airport. Famous for its walks along the harbor ramparts, for its red roofs and for its natural emerald-green inlet, the old town reveals its Catalan origins in its yellow walls and in the maze of narrow streets that open onto lively squares.

The coast, known as the Coral Riviera, extends for 90 km and hosts the largest colony of the highest quality coral.
