Where you can find this service

This service is available:

• Aboard the entire long-haul fleet (Airbus A350 and Airbus A330neo);
• Aboard the short- and medium-haul Airbus A321neo.

The connection service will be active on all aircraft from an altitude of 10,000 ft.

What connectivity services are available

The range of services varies according to the type of aircraft, the route (short, medium or long haul) and the duration of the flight.

By logging in to the in-flight portal, you can find the services on your flight and their features, allowing you to choose the package that best suits your needs.

To activate in-flight connection, you need to perform these simple steps:

• Put your device in Airplane mode and turn on Wi-Fi;
• When allowed, connect your PC, tablet or smartphone to ITAAirwaysWIFI, open the browser, and you will be automatically directed to the ITA Airways portal. 
• Select the Internet package you want by following the instructions on your device.

Bought a Business Class ticket for your next intercontinental flight or international flight of over 3 hours' duration?

You can now enjoy our connection service and keep in touch with your contacts for the entire flight!

When travelling in Business Class on one of our long-haul flights or on an international flight of over 3 hours' duration, you will be able to avail yourself of our free messaging service for the entire flight.

How can your obtain your free package? It's easy!

Our onboard staff will give you a voucher with a code: connect to the ITA Airways Wi-Fi portal, enter the code in the applicable field, and remain connected for the entire flight through your favorite messaging apps.  

N.B.:

• We offer global satellite coverage. However, during travel, signal strength may be weak or interrupted due to flying over areas where communication services are restricted by local regulations (e.g., India), weather-related or other phenomena that interfere with the connection, or transitions between satellite regions.
