Terms and conditions
Executive members have five free hours of access to the VIP Room per year. The hours available can be used in slots of at least one hour and at most three consecutive hours, and may be used for bookings in the current or subsequent years.
Executive members can use their free hours to book the VIP Room during the day of travel from Rome Fiumicino to a non-Schengen destination on a flight sold by ITA Airways.
This service is available to current Executive customers. The hours available to customers are valid for one year and cannot be combined with those valid for subsequent years.
The VIP Room can be booked through the following channels:
- Volare Personal Area
- Customer Center
- Lounge
The Piazza di Spagna VIP Room may be booked every day from 07:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Upon receiving confirmation of the booking, the member will receive the access code to be communicated at the welcome desk of the Piazza di Spagna lounge.
The VIP Room can be booked from thirty days prior to the date of the flight and right up until the day before through their Personal Area and our Customer Center. If no booking is made, access to the VIP Room can be requested directly at the lounge subject to availability.
Access to the VIP Room is permitted for up to three eligible guests, who must:
- hold a ticket for a flight operated by ITA Airways in business class;
- be an Executive or Premium member holding a ticket for a flight operated by ITA Airways or a SkyTeam partner.
You can change or cancel your booking through your Personal Area, by contacting the Customer Center or directly at the lounge.
Booking changes or cancellations can be made until the day before departure through your Personal Area and until the day of travel by calling the Customer Center or directly at the lounge.
Once the booking is made, it will not be possible to change the duration of the booking, only the time slot of access.
A confirmation email will be sent to the customer after cancelling or changing a booking.
Bookings may be subject to cancellation by ITA Airways for technical reasons.
In the event of a booking being cancelled, the hours will be credited back to the Executive Member. This is the case both if the customer cancels voluntarily and if ITA Airways cancels.
If a customer decides not to use a booking, they are invited to cancel it through their Personal Area, the Customer Center or directly at the lounge.
In the event of a cancelled or delayed flight, if the customer does not cancel the appointment, the hours relating to the booking will be credited back within the following 24 hours.
