Tickets purchased online, in the app, at ITA Airways airport ticket offices, or through the Customer Information Assistance Office, as well as itineraries that include flights with partner airlines. The ticket number must begin with the code 055.

You can change your travel dates if permitted by the fare rules. Please note that name changes are not allowed.

Yes, you will receive your new ticket with the requested changes at the email address you provided during purchase. Your booking reference (PNR) will remain the same.

Yes, but you must first cancel your check-in.

If your ticket type allows it, you can change your flight using the "Manage Flight" feature on the website or app homepage by entering your booking code (PNR) or ticket number and your last name.

You must contact the Customer Information Assistance Office to process changes or refunds for any cases that cannot be managed online (e.g., bookings involving Special Assistance or Unaccompanied Minors). In these instances, the Customer Information Assistance Office will handle your request free of charge.

No, you will need to contact the travel agency that issued the ticket.

You can manage the change and refund process easily and independently, even in the event of operational changes, in the following cases:

  • Cancellation of the original flight with re-routing on an alternative flight
  • Change to the original flight schedule of 3 hours or more

If the proposed solution is not to your liking, you can proceed with the change or refund by clicking the link included in the email notification we sent you, or directly via the "Manage Flight" section on our website and app. This is available for ITA Airways tickets (055) purchased online, via the app, at an airport ticket office, or through our Customer Information Assistance Office.

If the operational change occurs within four days of departure, you can also change tickets purchased through a travel agency online. However, refunds for agency-issued tickets must still be requested through the agency itself.

Please note that if your flight has been changed involuntarily, you are entitled to one change without penalty. If your fare permits, you can make any additional changes through the “Manage Flight” section on our website or app, or by contacting the Customer Information Assistance Office.

Cases where you must contact CIAO, our Customer Information Assistance Office, or your travel agency:

  • If your booking includes any of the following services:
    • Special Assistance
    • Extra or special baggage transport
    • Unaccompanied minors
    • Upgrades to a higher class
  • If your flight is rescheduled to depart more than one hour earlier than originally planned, and this change occurs between 14 days and the day of departure.

If the fare rules allow it, you have the option to make multiple changes.

If you wish to change the flight for only some of the passengers in your booking, please contact our Customer Information Assistance Office.

Yes, you can request a refund for one or more passengers within the same booking.
