The ITA Airways - Volare Status Match promotion is running from July 16 2024 until August 19 2024.

This initiative allows Volare members to match the status reached within the loyalty program of airlines included in Status Match initiative, as further specified below, to their Volare account.

The initiative is promoted by Italia Trasporto Aereo S.p.A. ("ITA Airways”), the Promoter, and Volare Loyalty S.p.A., the Co-Promoter, of the Volare reward scheme.

The promotion is valid for all Volare members, who inserted a residence address other than Italy during registration.

To take part in the initiative you must:

• Be a member of the Volare Program or a member of Volare AVVENTURA (for further information on the conditions and the necessary requirements to enroll in the Volare and Volare AVVENTURA programs, please visit the following link).
• Own a card that has a higher status than the basic level, namely the entry level obtained at the time of enrollment in the loyalty program of the airline company included in the Status Match campaign. View the list of included airlines here. 
• Not having taken part in any previous Volare Status Match campaigns.

It should be noted that:

• Only valid cards will be accepted as well as those with an expiration date no earlier than January 2023. Only cards that show the first and last name of the applicant will be accepted.
• The details of the third-party airline loyalty program card ("Origin Card") must be the same as those inserted in the Volare account with which the Status Match is being requested and the ID attached to the request.
• Status Match applications with Origin Card status equal to or lower than the current Club in the Volare program will not be considered valid.

How do I apply for Status Match?

• Status Match request can only be submitted through the dedicated “Status Match” section within your Volare personal area.
• Once you have accessed your Volare personal area, you will have to provide, within the dedicated fields, the following information:
  • Name of the origin card airline
  • Status of the origin card
  • Origin card (you must attach a clearly legible image of the origin card, which must contain first name, last name, airline, origin status, expiration date; the maximum accepted size is 2MB; formats: pdf, png, jpg, jpeg).
  • Valid identity document. This document will be used for the sole purpose of this initiative and will be deleted at the end of the Status Match campaign.
    
• Once the Status match request is submitted, a message will be displayed confirming that the request has been successfully submitted, together with the related request identification number.
• The new status and related digital card will be awarded and recognized in ITA Airways systems, upon verification and if successful, within 60 days from the date of the request.

Terms and Conditions

• Status Match requests sent via any other channel (e.g. phone, Contact Center, e-mail, social media, etc.) will not be accepted.
• Requests that do not include all the necessary information or that are accompanied by illegible documentation will not be processed.
• Multiple Status Match requests cannot be opened at the same time.
• It will only be possible to open an additional Status Match request in the case the initial application was rejected and only as long as the Status Match campaign is still active.
• In the event of a Status Match rejection, members will receive a negative outcome email. The reason will be displayed in the "Do you need help?" section within the Volare personal area.
• If the Status Match request is accepted, the member will receive a welcome email to the new Club, obtained through the Status Match campaign, to the e-mail address with which he/she enrolled to the Volare program.
  The newly acquired status, and thus the corresponding Club, will remain valid until the end of the calendar year following the year in which entry into that exclusive Club occurred (i.e., until the following December 31, or until the Volare program expires, whichever is earlier). If the Status Match request is accepted, 10.000 Volare qualifying points will be awarded to the member (i.e., points useful to obtain an upgrade to the higher Volare exclusive club or used to maintain the Club; as better regulated in the Volare regulations available at the following link, viewable in their personal area at the same time as the upgrade.
• In the event of behavior that, in the Promoter's sole discretion, is suspicious, fraudulent or in violation of the normal course of the initiative, or if the participant provides information that does not correspond to the truth, the Promoter reserves the right to revoke the benefits awarded, including the club obtained through Status Match Volare and the 10,000 qualifying points awarded. Any clarification regarding the Status Match initiative can be accessed through the "Do you need help?" section within the Volare personal area.
  Any complaints can be brought to the attention of ITA Airways and the Co-Promoter by sending an e-mail to reclami@ita-airways.com for Italy and complaints@ita-airways.com for foreign Members. ITA Airways customer service will provide a response as soon as possible and, in any case, within 20 days of receipt of the complaint
• The present terms and conditions of the Status Match campaign are subject to Italian law. Any dispute relating to Status Match (and its terms and conditions) shall be submitted to the courts of Rome (Italy), or to the consumer's court of competent jurisdiction.

Processing of personal data

ITA Airways and the Co-Promoter, as co-processors, inform Members that the personal data freely provided for the purpose of participation in the Program will be processed in accordance with the notice available at the following hyper-link.

Terms and conditions

1. The Member Get Member Promotion (the "Promotion") is organized by Volare Loyalty S.p.A. and Italia Trasporto Aereo S.p.A. ("ITA Airways") and allows existing Volare Members (meaning both Adult Members and Minor Members, as defined in the Volare Program Rules) (each an "Inviter" and collectively "Inviters") to earn the right to earn Non-Qualifying Volare Points ("NQ") by inviting individuals to (a) enroll as Volare Members (each an "Invitee" and collectively "Invitees") in the Volare Program and (b) complete an Eligible Transaction (as defined in Section 7 below). In these terms and conditions, the Inviters and Invitees shall collectively be referred to as 'Participants'.

2. This Promotion begins on May 20, 2024 and ends on July 17, 2024, unless extended. ("Promotion Entry Period").

3. All Volare members at the start of the Promotion Entry Period are eligible to participate as Promotion Inviters.

4. Inviters may participate in this promotion by providing Invitees with an invitation code, which can be viewed in the Volare Personal Area by accessing it via the web only. Invitees must then register for Volare using the above details and within the promotional entry period. Each Invitee must also complete a Qualifying Transaction as defined in Section 7 below between 20 May 2024 and 30 September 2024 (the "Qualifying Transaction Period").

5. The Inviter will receive 2,000 NQ Volare points provided the following conditions are met:

a.  Invitees must successfully register as a new Volare member by entering the invitation code provided by the Inviter in the 'INVITE CODE' section of the web or app registration form at https://www.ita-airways.com/ within the Promotion Entry Period.

b.  Once the registration has been completed, the Invitee will receive a welcome email from Volare containing their Volare membership number.

c.  The Invitee must then make a Qualifying Transaction using their new Volare membership number within the Qualifying Transaction Period.

6. Regardless of the number of Invitees, each Inviter may earn up to a maximum of 10,000 NQ Volare Points from the Promotion, equivalent to 5 Invitees making a Qualifying Transaction during the specified Eligibility Period.

7. A Qualifying Transaction is the following transaction:

a.  Take a flight sold and operated by ITA Airways on https://www.ita-airways.com/ between May 20, 2024 and September 30, 2024 ("Qualifying Transaction").

Please note that in order to complete the Qualifying Transaction, the Invitee must provide his or her Volare Card number at the time of ticket purchase or at the time of check-in if the flight was purchased on a flight sold and operated by ITA Airways prior to enrollment in the Volare Program. It should also be noted that any flight purchased and used for the purpose of the Qualifying Transaction may not be purchased on a cash/points basis.

8. Volare reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change, modify, terminate or otherwise alter these terms and conditions, and will notify participants of such changes in the same manner as it announced the promotion.

9.  Volare reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of Inviters and Invitees to participate in the Promotion. The deletion of an account belonging to an Inviter or an Invitee automatically excludes their participation in the Promotion.

10. Enrollment in the Volare Program by Invitees must be made in accordance with the enrollment process set forth in the Volare Program Rules. Volare NQ points must be used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Volare program, available at https://www.ita-airways.com/it_it/volare/theprogram/regulations.html.

11. For both Inviters and Invitees, the NQ Volare points earned under this promotion will be credited to their Volare accounts within 60 days of the Invitee's use of a ticket on a flight sold and operated by ITA Airways.

12. Inviters may submit an unlimited number of Invitees, subject to the maximum number of NQ Volare Points that may be earned as set out in Section 6 above. Inviters shall not be deemed to have made a successful referral if the Invitee is an existing Volare member.

13. Each Volare member can only have one Volare membership account. Any fraudulent or duplicate Volare account, including the original Volare account, will be suspended and excluded from the promotion.

14. By participating in the Promotion, each participant agrees that any personal data submitted (including his/her name, Volare Code and email address) may be collected, used or otherwise processed (collectively, "Processed") by Volare for the purposes of the Promotion. Participants' personal information will be processed in accordance with Volare's Privacy Policy.

15. In relation to any referral, the Invitee represents and warrants that he or she did not improperly obtain the Invitation Code from the Inviter.

16. Companies and other legal entities are not eligible to enter the promotion.

17. By participating in the Promotion, each participant agrees to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with or breach of any of these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification at any stage of the Promotion.

Every member of the Volare program who purchases one or more return flights sold and operated by ITA Airways between 06/10/2024 and 06/25/2024 and flies between 06/10/2024 and 09/30/2024 (last return date possible) from Italy to Accra, Dakar, Riyadh or Jeddah (or vice versa) will earn double Volare points.

Double points are considered non-qualifying.

Non-qualifying double points will only be awarded for the outbound and return routes from Rome Fiumicino to Accra, Dakar, Riyadh or Jeddah and vice versa. With reservations that also include routes not covered by the promotion, points will only be awarded for the routes on promotion. For example, on the Milan-Rome-Rome-Accra route (with a stopover in Rome), points will only be awarded for the Rome-Accra route.

Passengers with group bookings are included in the promotion.

To avail yourself of the promotion you must be a Volare member.

Points will be credited within 60 days following the date of the flight.

The 20% discount is valid on all fares (excluding taxes and surcharges) for round trips sold and operated by ITA Airways from abroad to Italy. Flights must be purchased between 06/05/2024 and 06/10/2024 and taken between 09/15/2024 and 03/15/2025 (last permitted return date). The promotion is not valid between 12/20/2024 and 09/01/2025.

To take advantage of the discount, you must enroll in the Volare program exclusively through this link (or the one in the email, if received) between May 31, 2024 and June 4, 2024.

To complete the registration, you need to access the email and click on the appropriate link. 

The customer will receive the 20% discount code by email on May 5, 2024.

If you are already a Volare member, you can still take advantage of the same discount. It is necessary to:

• Access to your personal area of Volare from the website
• Go to the "Profile" section and then to "Personal Information"
• In the period from May 31, 2024 to June 4, 2024, enter the code REPUBBLICA24 in the field “Do you have an invitation code?” at the bottom of the page

If the procedure is followed correctly, the customer will receive the 20% discount code by email on June 5, 2024.

Youth fares are excluded from the promotion. The discount only applies to adult fares.  

The promotional code cannot be combined with other promotional codes. 

The discount does not apply if the value is less than 1 Euro.

The discount only applies to the first ticket issued. In case of reissue, with or without penalty, the previously discounted amount will be added on. 

The initiative is valid for round-trip flights departing from abroad to Italy; the discount does not apply to domestic flights.

3. Click on "Want to add a promotional code?"
4. Enter the code you received by email and click on "Apply" to view the discount
