- There is no discount for the child fare (children from 2 to 11 years old). For infants (from 0 to 23 months), the charge is 10% of the above surcharge
- The offer, which only applies to certain dates and selected flights, is subject to availability, meal quotas and special assistance
- The offer is valid for a named individual, is non-transferable and only applies to the proposed flight (connecting flights are not included)
- The upgrade may be offered during web check in or during check-in at the departure airport, or it may be sent by email to all passengers with an Alitalia ticket purchased at least four days prior to the flight's departure
- The promotion is not available to passengers traveling on award tickets or on corporate or group fares, as these passengers may purchase upgrades at any time through tariff integration (in miles for award tickets) by calling Customer Service or at the airport ticket counter
- Prices may vary depending on the availability of the superior class
- The upgrade is not refundable. Customers who accept, online or at the airport, the offer to buy a paid upgrade occasionally offered by the Company, may receive a refund or reuse of an Extra Comfort Seat bought previously
- The upgrade allows passengers to use priority gates where available, but does not include increased baggage allowance, mileage credits or access to Lounges
- At airports without Alitalia ticket desks, passengers with purchased upgrades may be asked to pay a surcharge for receipt issuance services
