All passengers traveling on flights operated by Alitalia may purchase upgrades to Business Class Long Haul or Economy Premium classes directly on board. This offer is valid on long-haul international routes to/from all destinations available on the Alitalia network, subject to availability.
Upgrades purchased are valid for the single flight only and do not include any connecting flights. Purchasing an on-board upgrade gives the passenger the right to accumulate miles relating to the superior class.

There is no discount for the child fare (children from 2 to 11 years old). For infants (from 0 to 23 months) the charge is 10% of the above surcharge.
