If your flight is delayed by at least 2 hours (for routes up to 1,500 km), 3 hours (for routes between 1,500 and 3,500 km), or 4 hours (for routes over 3,500 km), you are entitled to assistance from ITA Airways. This assistance may include meals, refreshments, two free phone calls or messages, and, if necessary, hotel accommodation with transport included.
If your flight is canceled, ITA Airways will offer you the choice between a refund or rebooking on an alternative flight to your final destination as soon as possible or at a later date of your choice, subject to seat availability. You may also be entitled to financial compensation, except in certain circumstances specified by European regulations.
If you are offered alternative transportation and choose to book another means of transport on your own, we will not be required to reimburse you for any costs incurred or provide assistance.
If your booking was made through a travel agent or a third party and you wish to request a refund, they must submit the request on your behalf, as we can only refund the person or company that issued your ticket.

Alternatively, and preferably, you can use the email address or the online form provided by Italia Trasporto Aereo in the cancellation notification message.
You are entitled to financial compensation if your flight is canceled or arrives at your final destination more than 3 hours late, unless the delay or cancellation was caused by extraordinary circumstances (such as severe weather or strikes). The amount of compensation depends on the flight distance and the length of the delay.
