Art. 3 – Sales channels
3.1 The Flight Pass can be purchased and used on ita-airways.com under the dedicated section “Flight Pass” or through our Customer Center, by contacting us at the numbers found here.
Art. 4 – Purchase and conditions
4.1 The Purchaser shall log on to ita-airways.com, enter the dedicated section “Flight Pass”, select “Buy Flight Pass”, and once redirected to the platform, choose the features of their Flight Pass. The Purchaser should then register by creating an account. Once you have obtained your login credentials, you will be able to sign in with your "Username" and "Password" and finalize the purchase by selecting your profile based on the type of trip.
4.2 Tickets can only be issued for flights operated by ITA Airways. Code share flights are excluded.
4.3 Flights with territorial continuity and seasonal routes are excluded.
4.4 Each ticket issued is only valid on a journey consisting of two connecting segments. The Flight Pass for purchasing connecting flights does not allow you to purchase direct flights. The other passenger names must be added, again by accessing the platform using your “Username” and “Password”, and within the chosen booking period. If you have purchased the “Freedom Option” you can enter names after the first one up to one hour before the flight departure. You can change the names of passengers entered in the system by logging into the platform using your “Username” and “Password”, entering the “Manage Flight Pass”, “Change My Flight Pass” section and after selecting the Flight Pass to be changed, you will be able to proceed with changing the passenger name for a fee.
4.5 Once you have purchased the Flight Pass, it is possible to change certain parameters chosen during the purchase process: Travel Class, Number of Trips, Number of Passengers, Travel Period, Booking Period and Blackout Dates by paying a fare surcharge and a fee that varies according to the parameter to be changed (see summary table below):

To change the parameters, the purchaser will have to enter the section “Manage Flight Pass”, “Change my Flight Pass” and after logging in using your “Username” and “Password”, select the Flight Pass purchased and the parameter that you wish to change by choosing from the list of editable parameters. The purchaser will have to pay the fare surcharge and a fee (which varies depending on the parameter to be changed); both can be displayed during the payment transaction.
4.6 The price of the Flight Pass includes the fare, including taxes and surcharges, of the tickets that will be issued later.
It is permitted to change the two parameters below when booking two connecting flights, for a specific booking made through Flight Pass, both before purchase and after ticketing, subject to payment of any fare adjustment calculated on the basis of the new available fare:
- Booking Window: You can reduce the booking window, allowing you to book flights closer to your departure date. For example, if your Flight Pass has a booking window of 14 days, it will still be possible, for the two connecting flights, to make a booking with departure within 7 days, subject to payment of any fare difference, calculated on the basis of the new available fare, and any additional charges.
- Elimination of travel date restrictions: You can remove travel date restrictions, allowing you to book flights during peak seasons. If the Flight Pass purchased has these restrictions, it will still be possible to book the two connecting flights with departure on a blackout date, subject to payment of any fare difference, calculated on the basis of the new available fare, and any additional charges.
Please note that if the above Flight Pass parameters are changed only for a single booking, the updated conditions will only apply to those connecting flights. All other bookings will continue to be governed by the conditions of the Flight Pass originally purchased.
4.7 The price of the Flight Pass must be paid in a single payment at the time of purchase. To issue the Voucher it will be necessary to enter the required data in your profile in order to issue the relevant invoice.
4.8 The price of the Flight Pass is variable and refers to the time of purchase of the package.
4.9 The entire Flight Pass and/or individual vouchers of the package purchased cannot be canceled and are non-refundable. No-show is not permitted; in the event of a no-show, the ticket will be considered no longer valid and no longer usable.
4.10 Luggage Each ticket allows the passenger to carry baggage within the cabin allowance of the chosen travel class:
- For Economy Class, one piece of hand baggage is permitted, weighing a maximum of 8 kg. None of the Economy Class fares include checked baggage. If you want to buy checked baggage in the hold, please refer to the LIGHT FARE BAGGAGE CONDITIONS found at ita-airways.com
- For domestic Business Class, one piece of hand baggage weighing up to 8 kg and two checked bags up to a maximum of 23 kg each is allowed.
- For international Business Class, one piece of hand baggage weighing up to 8 kg and two checked bags up to a maximum of 32 kg each is allowed.
These are subject to the ITA Airways size restrictions found on ita-airways.com
4.11 Lounge access, Fast Track, and Priority Boarding, where applicable, are included in Business Travel Class, with the exception of the Rome–Milan Business Promotional Flight Pass and the Business Promotional Flight Pass.
4.12 Tickets can be used by minors under the age of 15 only if accompanied by an adult. The "Unaccompanied Minors" procedure is not permitted.
4.13 The price of the Flight Pass does not include discounts for minors under the age of 15.

When redirected to the platform, they must log in using their “Username” and “Password”, select “Book flights”, select the Flight Pass purchased as well as the flight, date and time of departure, then select the passenger receiving the ticket and finally issue the ticket.
5.2 Tickets must be issued and used within the period defined by the “Travel Period”, unless the purchaser has also purchased the “Freedom Option”, in which case the ticket may be issued up to one hour prior to flight departure.
5.3 For those who have purchased the “Freedom Option,” at no additional charge, changes in the date and time of booked connecting flights are permitted up to one hour before the departure of the first flight (ticket change only possible on the web platform and subject to availability). For other passengers (who have not purchased the Freedom Option), the change of date and time of booked connecting flights is permitted before the departure of the first flight within the booking period chosen, and with the payment of a rebooking fee of €65.00 (change only possible on the web platform and subject to availability).
Flight changes must be made with the same itinerary (routing). The Flight Pass for purchasing connecting flights does not allow you to purchase direct flights.
5.4 Tickets issued cannot be canceled or refunded with the exception of airport taxes.
5.5 None of the Flight Pass Economy Class fares includes free seat selection.
For further details, please read Additional services, “seat selection”, on the page containing the description of the service. If you do not purchase your preferred seat, the system will assign one free of charge during check-in, based on availability and operational and safety criteria.
5.6 Any ancillary services can be purchased directly on the ITA Airways website during check-in or, if available directly, at the airport.
Art. 6 – Applicable law and court with jurisdiction
6.1 The Flight Pass Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Italian law. ITA Airways and each passenger accepts the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Italian courts to resolve any disputes that may arise between them.
6.2 For anything not expressly provided for in these Terms and Conditions of the Flight Pass, please refer to the ITA Airways General Conditions of Carriage, the Website Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, all available at ita-airways.com.
