The Lufthansa Group airlines will gradually resume flights to and from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) starting in June. This decision follows a comprehensive safety and security assessment.
Initially, Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa Cargo will restart their operations to Tel Aviv from June.
For operational reasons:
- SWISS, ITA Airways, and Lufthansa are currently planning to resume flights as early as July.
- Eurowings is expected to return to Tel Aviv by mid-July.
- Brussels Airlines is suspending flights to Tel Aviv until further notice
Furthermore, Lufthansa Group airlines ITA Airways, Lufthansa, and SWISS will continue to suspend flights to and from Dubai for operational reasons until and including 13 September.
Affected passengers will be contacted directly by their respective airline and offered flexible rebooking options or a full refund. For further information, customers should visit the relevant airline's website or contact their travel agent.

Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Edelweiss, and Lufthansa Cargo have already suspended all flights to the following destinations for operational reasons:
- Abu Dhabi through 24 October
- Amman through 24 October
- Beirut through 24 October
- Dammam through 24 October
- Riyadh through 24 October (ITA Airways: through 30 June)
- Erbil through 24 October
- Muscat through 24 October
- Tehran through October 24
Eurowings has already suspended the following flights for operational reasons:
- Beirut through 19 June
- Erbil through 22 June
- Tel Aviv through 9 July
- Dubai, Abu Dhabi und Amman through 24 October
