Please remember that:

• Extra baggage can be purchased online only for flights operated by ITA Airways.
• For hand luggage exceeding the permitted weight or dimensions, or for bags to be checked in, a supplement will be charged based on the number of extra pieces, as indicated in the fare reference ​tables for your ticket.
• Fares apply to a single direction of travel (e.g., one-way or the return leg only).
• Prices are subject to change depending on when the luggage service is purchased.

You are entitled to a refund of the amount paid for additional baggage in the following cases:

• The original flight was canceled and you declined the alternative flight offered by ITA Airways.
• The baggage for which you purchased an additional allowance is lost and not recovered within 45 days.
• Illness or death (in both cases, the waiver must be supported by a valid hospital or death certificate) of:
  • Close relatives: Spouse, children (including adoptive children), parents, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, parents-in-law, siblings-in-law, sons-in-law, and daughters-in-law. In this case, proof of kinship is required via an official certificate (family status or other documentation issued by relevant authorities, such as a registry office).
  • Passengers, relatives, or friends traveling on the same PNR.

You are not entitled to a refund if:

• You decide to bring less luggage than you purchased.

Note: We recommend attaching a name tag with your contact information so we can reach you in case of any issues with your baggage.

Extra baggage can only be purchased at the airport for flights departing from:

• Corfu
• Heraklion
• Ibiza
• Kefalonia 
• Menorca 
• Palma de Mallorca
• Rhodes 
• Split 
• Thessaloniki 
• Tirana
