Comfort and Safety Devices for Children on Board

On our flights, we can provide child comfort devices, such as bedboxes, CARES seatbelts, or inflatables like the Flytot.
Please inform our staff of the presence of such devices when booking, or contact the ​Customer Center before your flight for the necessary checks.

Please note:

  • Devices can be installed and used only in Economy class and on window seats;
  • The use of the devices must not disturb other passengers;
  • The use of devices is not permitted during taxiing, take-off, and landing.

If you use CARES seatbelts, please notify the staff at the airport check-in desk and the cabin crew on board.
CARES seatbelts must be placed on the seat and used independently according to the instructions. They must be approved for flight and therefore, must have the "FAA approved" label, which will be verified by the cabin crew.

To ensure the correct functioning of the device, the child must be:

  • Seated separately from the adult and facing forward;
  • Able to sit upright without support;
  • Less than 100 cm tall;
  • Between 10 kg (22 lb) and 20 kg (44 lb) in weight.

Please follow these guidelines when using the device on board:

  • The device can only be used in window seats;
  • The device cannot be used in Premium and Business Class;
  • The device must never be used near or at emergency exits.
