Online Check-in on the Web and App

1. Enter your booking details: select your flight and any passengers traveling with you
2. Choose additional services: seat selection with a charge based on your fare class and checked baggage
3. Choose how to receive your boarding pass

If you need to check in baggage, you can skip the lines with the dedicated drop-off desks at the airport (where available) or the Business Class desks.
Please note: check-in for ​​​unaccompanied minors and passengers requiring ​​​dedicated assistance must be completed at the airport to ensure proper support.

This service is available up to 48 hours before your flight's departure, which includes travel with checked baggage.

Passengers traveling to the US must arrive at check-in desks 3.5 hours before departure for mandatory document checks. Please have your ESTA, Green Card, or Visa ready.

Please note: For flights to/from Brazil, Argentina, Japan, and the United States, you must enter your passport information. For flights to London and Cairo, you must enter your passport or identity card information.

Please note that you can check in and obtain your boarding pass up to one hour before departure for international flights and up to 40 minutes before departure for domestic flights.

Passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility can receive the same discount by calling the dedicated number. Please ensure ​assistance is requested no later than the day before your flight departure.

Online check-in, via the web and mobile app, is available to all passengers traveling on flights operated by ITA Airways, except:

• Minors (up to and including 14 years old) traveling alone^*
• Passengers requiring special assistance^**
• Passengers with group bookings (more than 9 people)
• Passengers traveling with special baggage (sports equipment, animals)
• Passengers traveling on flights not operated by ITA Airways
• Passengers with connecting flights on the same day operated by airlines other than Air Europa, Air France, KLM, Etihad, or Delta Air Lines
• Passengers with revalidated, reissued, or canceled tickets in the same booking.
• Passengers departing from:
  • Tirana
  • Lampedusa
  • Ibiza
  • Pantelleria
  • Palma de Mallorca
  • Menorca

You can choose how to collect/print your boarding pass:

When boarding, please be ready to show your boarding pass on your mobile device. Please print a paper backup only when necessary, using the airport check-in counters.

You can still check in online if you have baggage to drop off. After completing online check-in, leave your baggage at the designated 'Drop-off' desks in major airports, or at the Business Class desks in other airports.
