New entry regulations for the United Kingdom
Travelers who do not require a visa to enter or transit the UK for a short stay:
An Electronic Travel Authorisation (UK ETA) for the UK is a digital permit required for travelers who do not need a visa but are visiting or transiting the UK. Linked to the traveler’s passport, the UK ETA must be obtained before traveling. The UK ETA does not replace a visa for those who require one, but is mandatory for travelers without a visa or other immigration status, including children and infants. A UK ETA is valid for two years or until the passport expires, whichever comes earlier.
