What is the Rome–Milan Flight Pass?

The Rome Fiumicino–Milan Linate Promotional Flight Pass is a package of prepaid vouchers that can be used to purchase one-way tickets at a later date, allowing you to travel between Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate at any time of year at the fares selected at the time of purchase.

The promotional Flight Pass for the Rome Fiumicino–Milan Linate route has restrictions on the booking class that vary depending depending on the travel class (Economy or Business) chosen at the time of purchase, and it is subject to the relevant conditions of the Flight Pass purchased.

Absolutely not! The price of the Rome Fiumicino – Milan Linate promotional Flight Pass refers to the fare, which always includes taxes and surcharges for all tickets issued.

Tickets include transportation on flights operated directly by ITA Airways in the selected travel class (Economy or Business) and the corresponding included services:

    Purchasing the Flight Pass

    Every ticket issued can be used on a single route: in the case of a one-way trip, e.g. Rome-Milan, one ticket must be issued; in the case of a round trip, e.g. Rome-Milan-Rome, two tickets must be issued, the first for the Rome-Milan route and the second for the Milan-Rome route.

    Yes, of course! You can share with up to four people.

    • You must enter the first passenger's name at the time of buying the Flight Pass and then add the other names within the booking period (1 hour before travel). Once you add a name, you cannot delete it or change it to another name;
    • Each passenger may travel alone, or with one or more passengers per flight. Any passenger traveling alone cannot be an unaccompanied minor under the age of 15;
    • Once the Flight Pass has been purchased, it is not possible to increase the number of passengers;
    • Minors under the age of 15 can be added, but they cannot travel alone, as the “Unaccompanied Minors” procedure is not permitted.

    To add the names of passengers, after the first one, to your purchased Flight Pass, go to the “Flight Pass” section by clicking here, select “Book Flights,” and once you’ve been redirected to the dedicated platform, log in using your “Username” and “Password.” Next, enter the "Manage Passes", "Add Passengers" section and select the Flight Pass purchased, then enter the name of each passenger and confirm.

    There is no minimum number of flights each passenger must take. For example, a passenger can issue 1 or all 50 tickets.

    No, the Flight Pass cannot be used by minors under the age of 15 unless accompanied by an adult. The “Unaccompanied Minors” procedure is not permitted.

    No, there is no discount on the Flight Pass for minors under the age of 15.

    Yes, at the time of making the purchase you can request an invoice by filling in a specific form.

    Use of the Flight Pass: issuing tickets

    To issue a ticket, click here and select “Book flights”; once you have been redirected to the dedicated platform, log in using your “Username” and “Password”, select “Book flights”, select the Flight Pass purchased, the flight, the date, the departure time and the passenger receiving the ticket, then confirm and issue the ticket. You can search for and book ITA Airways flights based on the criteria selected in the Flight Pass.

    Once the ticket has been issued, before the flight departure, it is possible to change the date and time of the flight booked, subject to payment of a booking change supplement of €30 (ticket exchange only possible on the web platform and subject to availability of the dedicated booking class). Cancellations are not permitted, and tickets are non-refundable (refunds are granted only in the event of a certified illness and/or the death of the passenger and/or immediate family members, as provided for in the ITA Airways General Conditions of Carriage).
    No-shows are not permitted; in the event of a no-show, the ticket will be considered invalid and cannot be used.

    No, it is not possible to issue tickets after the “travel period” has expired.

    Unused tickets will not be refunded.

    In the case mentioned, you can issue the tickets until July 1. Tickets must be used no later than July 1.

    Using the Flight Pass: Ticket Changes

    To change the date and time of your ticket, click here, select “Book flights” and, once you have been redirected to the dedicated platform, log in using your “Username” and “Password”, go to “Manage Booking” > “Change Flight”, select the Flight Pass purchased and the booking to be changed, then issue the ticket subject to paying the supplement.

    No, at this time, you cannot purchase a Flight Pass using an installment plan.
