Onboard services vary depending on travel class and flight duration—from drinks on shorter flights to snacks on short-haul routes and multi-course meals on intercontinental flights. Yes. On all long-haul flights and on flights operated with the Airbus A321neo, ITA Airways provides a broad entertainment selection, including movies, TV series, documentaries, lifestyle content, podcasts, audiobooks, and music playlists.

On short- and medium-haul flights operated with the Airbus A320neo, you can stream a free selection from the long-haul program to your own device (smartphone or tablet) through the onboard network.

If your flight is canceled, we will, where possible, offer to rebook you on another ITA Airways flight or arrange a comparable travel alternative so you can reach your destination as quickly as possible. You may also choose a full refund of your ticket price.

If an alternative is offered and you decide to make your own arrangements instead, we are not required to reimburse any additional costs or provide further assistance.

Premium Economy offers extra comfort on long-haul flights operated with the Airbus A321neo, including wider ergonomic seats with more recline and additional legroom, comfort kits and amenities, a separate cabin with an enhanced inflight entertainment selection, priority boarding, priority baggage handling, and extra checked baggage. You may bring one carry-on bag on board with a maximum weight of 8 kg and maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 23 cm. In addition, you’re allowed one personal item (such as a handbag). You can find all carry-on baggage details here.

Checked baggage must not exceed a total size of 158 cm (height + width + depth). Depending on your travel class and route, the maximum weight per bag is 23 kg or 32 kg. Please review the specific checked baggage rules for your flight before you depart.

Yes. You can choose your seat in any travel class. Whether seat selection is free or comes with a fee depends on your fare and frequent flyer status. Simply pick your preferred seat when booking on ita-airways.com or in the ITA Airways app. Full details on seat selection are available here.

Your pet can be transported either in the cabin or in the climate-controlled and pressurized cargo hold, depending on its type, weight, and size, as well as national and international regulations. Please note that only dogs and cats are allowed, both in the cabin and the cargo hold. As there are limited spaces available for pet transport on board (either in the cabin or the cargo hold), we recommend reserving the service at least 48 hours prior to departure via the designated channels.
