MM STATUS MATCH

Terms and Conditions:

From 22 April 2025 until 10 June 2025 you can participate in the Volare – ITA Airways Miles & More status match campaign, as specified below.
The initiative is jointly promoted by Italia Trasporto Aereo S.p.A. ("ITA Airways”), Volare Loyalty S.p.A. (as Co-Promoter of the Volare reward program) and Miles & More GmbH.

Determining the Status Match

The initiative enables Volare Plus, Premium and Executive Members and Volare Avventura Plus, Premium and Executive Members to apply for a Status Match with the Miles & More program, equivalent to their Volare/Volare Avventura Club (a "Status Match").
Only Volare Plus, Premium and Executive Members and Volare Avventura Plus, Premium and Executive Members who have earned at least 30,000 Qualifying Points (as defined in the Volare Regulations) between 1 January 2024 and 31 January 2025 can apply for a Status Match, regardless of their membership status in the Volare/Volare Avventura Program.
The Status Match will be based on the conversion criteria specified in the following table:

Conditions for obtaining a Status Match

To obtain a Status Match, on the date of the request, Volare Plus, Premium or Executive Members and/or Volare Avventura Plus, Premium or Executive Members must already have joined the Miles & More program with the same name as used for the Volare/Volare Avventura Program. If a Volare Plus, Premium or Executive Member and/or Volare Avventura Plus, Premium or Executive Member has not already joined the Miles & More program on the date of submitting the Status Match request, they may join at that time, but this must be done before submitting a Status Match request.

Any status obtained by a member through the Status Match initiative is subject to the validity conditions of the Miles & More program. For more information on the validity of the status obtained in the Miles & More program, see the official communication channels of Miles & More GmbH.

How to request a Status Match

Volare and/or Volare Avventura members who meet the above requirements can request a Status Match through the dedicated section in their personal ITA Volare area at www.ita-airways.com.

For the request to be successful, the Member must have already joined the Miles & More program (the name and surname of the requesting Volare and/or Volare Avventura Member must be the same as those used for the Miles & More program) and have accepted the terms and conditions of the Miles & More program.

Volare and/or Volare Avventura members will be asked to enter their Miles & More identification code in the Status Match application form, available in their personal ITA Volare area.

Note that only Volare and/or Volare Avventura Members can apply for recognition of their status within the Miles & More program, and not vice versa.

Once the request is made, possession of the necessary requirements will be assessed jointly by Volare and Miles & More before the Status Match is granted.

The Status Match request will be processed within 21 days of submission by the Volare and/or Volare Avventura Member.

Applications that do not comply with the provisions of this document, or that are submitted by anyone not meeting the requirements listed above, will be rejected.

Status Match applications sent via any other channel (e.g. phone, Contact Center, e-mail, social media, etc.) will not be processed.

Any Status Match requests that do not include all the necessary data will not be processed.

Only one Status Match application is permitted per applicant.

In the event of conduct that, at the sole discretion of the Promoter, are considered suspicious, fraudulent or in violation of the normal operational procedures of the initiative, or if the Volare and/or Volare Avventura member provides false information, the Promoters reserve the right to cancel the assigned benefits.

Reasons for rejecting a Status Match request

The request may be rejected for the following reasons:

  1. The Miles & More Card code is not active.
  2. The Miles & More Card Code is missing or in an invalid format.
  3. The Member's first and last name in the Volare and Miles & More programs do not match.
  4. The first and last names are missing.

Any complaints may be brought to the attention of ITA Airways and the Co-Promoter using the form at: https://www.complaint.ita-airways.com/s/complaint?language=en_US. The ITA Airways Customer Center will respond to any complaints as soon as possible and, in any case, within 20 days of receiving same.

Applicable law and jurisdiction for disputes

The present terms and conditions of the Status Match initiative are governed by Italian law. Any dispute relating to the Status Match (and its terms and conditions) will be referred to the courts of Rome (Italy), or to the competent consumer court in accordance with the laws in force.

Processing of Personal Data

ITA Airways and the Co-Promoter, in their capacity as Joint Controllers, inform Members that the personal data freely provided by them for the purpose of participation in the Program will be processed in accordance with the information available at: https://www.ita-airways.com/en_en/volare/theprogram/privacy.html
