- The discount reserved for Sicilian residents applies to both outbound and return flights (including one-way flights) operated by ITA Airways and connecting the airports of Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate to those of Catania and Palermo.

- “Priority” passengers can buy tickets online at the standard discount and request a refund for the additional contribution by applying to the Italian Department of Infrastructure, Mobility and Transport within 30 days of the flight date.
- If one of the passengers on a single booking (in the event of several passengers having a single PNR) decides to abandon the journey and request a refund, if this is allowed by the fare rules applied to the ticket, this decision must be communicated to the ITA Airways Contact Center at least 3 hours before the flight’s departure in order to allow the proper handling of the request based on the systems currently in use by the company.
