Due to a strike by the staff of ground handling companies affiliated with Assohandlers, scheduled for Thursday, 10 July some changes may affect ITA Airways' flight operations. The airline was forced to cancel 36 flights, both domestic and international, all on the day of the strike.

ITA Airways advises all travelers who have purchased a ticket for the day of the strike to check the status of their flight before going to the airport, on the ita-airways.com website, in the Flight Info page, or by contacting the travel agency where they purchased the ticket.
Travelers holding tickets and eventually affected by a cancellation or schedule change of the above ITA Airways flights on 10 July can rebook their flight at no additional cost or penalty. Alternatively, they may request a full ticket refund (only if the flight was canceled or delayed by 5 hours or more) within 16 July, by calling the airline at +39 06 8596 0020* or by contacting the travel agency where the ticket was bought.
