Whistleblowing

REPORTING AN ILLICIT DEED IS NOT A COMPLAINT ABOUT A TRAVEL EXPERIENCE. FOR COMPLAINTS, NOTIFICATIONS, OR SUGGESTIONS ON PUBLIC SERVICES OF A COMMERCIAL NATURE, GO TO THE DEDICATED PAGE.

ITA Airways is committed to promoting and disseminating a Company culture based on ethics and transparency. To this end, ITA Airways expects that all those who operate within the Company's working context as employees, top management, members of company bodies and/or business partners, will report any violation of the:

  • Applicable norms and regulations.
  • Code of Ethics.
  • Organisation, Management, and Control Organisation in terms of Legislative Decree No. 231 of 8 June 2001.
  • Management system for preventing corruption.
  • Powers and delegations system.
  • Company’s in-house normative framework (Health and Safety Procedure, and other in-house policies and procedures, etc.).

For this reason, in light of Legislative Decree 24/2023, ITA Airways has set up channels for in-house reporting of violations and irregularities (illicit deeds and/or behaviour, committed or omitted, that harm the public interest or the integrity of the Company). These channels guarantee whistleblowers confidentiality in terms of their identity and information contained in the reports, as well as their protection against any retaliation. Although anonymous reports are accepted, we recommend that whistleblowers opt for named reports, in order to speed up and make investigations more effective.

ITA Airways has set up a computerised platform, provided by a specialist service provider, which can be used to submit reports in written form or using voice messaging systems.
