Please note that, for passenger transport services, transport tickets serve as tax receipts as required by art. 1 of Italian Ministerial Decree dated 06/30/1992.
For tickets purchased via the WEB platform, the invoice must be requested at the time of purchasing the ticket, using the applicable link on the purchase confirmation page.
For purchases made through the Customer Centre, the invoice may be requested from the operator, but only at the time of making the purchase.
From 01/01/2019, with the entry into force in Italy of electronic invoicing, applicable invoices will no longer be delivered at the time of the request, but will be sent to the address provided at the time of making the request, after validation by the Italian Revenue Agency’s Exchange System. Please also note that the original invoice, which is valid for tax and legal purposes, will be available in your “tax box” on the Italian Revenue Agency’s website from the moment it is issued upon request, subject to processing times.
